Target

Combine a wholesale B2B portal with an online retail store with bi-directional integration of orders and balances with 1C.

Project work process

2 development teams worked on the project, for which tasks and privileges were divided for a successful launch. The development process was divided into 2 stages:

Creation of an initial MVP prototype of a new site on CMS Drupal 8, transfer of the current functionality, content migration, creation of a new design concept for a new interface.
Upgrading the platform to CMS Drupal 9, transferring the updated content and splitting the site into a B2B portal and an online retail store.

The project was managed in CRM systems Teamwork and Bitrix 24. To build a prototype and grid structure, the Bootstrap v5.0 library was used, with the help of which an individual theme was developed based on the basic Barrio.

Results

The merger of the project made it possible to save resources on cloud hosting, offload the 1C database, and speed up work on the moderation of spectacle lenses and order processing.
